Pete Burns is in court
The cross dressing former front man of 1980s band Dead or Alive appeared in court yesterday accused of threatening to kill his ex-gay lover.The Celebrity Big Brother contestant was accused of waging a month-long harassment campaign against his former boyfriend Jason Peters. The 46-year-old appeared late in the court dressed in a kimono and platform shoes.
The court was told that the singer threatened him twice at a London restaurant.
He was arrested in April after Mr Peters went to the police, a five week trial is scheduled for the 25th of September.
The singer denies the allegations.
